Project Description - The Lansing Housing Commission, owner of the northern portion of the former Michigan School for the Blind campus, hopes to transform the old Administration building into a transitional senior housing complex.  These 40 housing units will be for seniors looking to give up their current home but not yet ready for a retirement center.  Additionally, the LHC hopes to transform a wing of the former admin building into their own offices.  Once complete, they will rename the building "The Abigail" in honor of one of the pioneers of the Michigan School for the Blind.

Public Incentive - $0 - Non TIF Brownfield; Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILOT)
