City Assessor
The City Assessor is responsible for keeping inventory and value of all assessable property within the City of Lansing yearly.
City Attorney
We serve as General Counsel to the City of Lansing. Under the Charter, the City Attorney is responsible to both the Mayor and the City Council, but at the end of the day the client is truly the City of Lansing.
City Clerk
The Lansing City Clerk's Office is responsible for administering all elections, business licenses, City documents including City Council Agendas, and accept U.S. passport applications.
City Council
The Lansing City Council is the legislative and policy-making body for the City government. It sets policies, approves budgets, determines tax rates, and adopts ordinances and resolutions to govern the City. The City Council also confirms citizen volunteers to a number of boards and advisory posts.
