The Turner-Dodge House is a cornerstone in the City of Lansing, and we pride ourselves on maintaining the historical integrity of the property. The Copper Beech tree in the front of the house has reached the end of its natural lifecycle, and the tree must be removed, along with the seating around the tree.
Large branches recently fell from the tree onto the seating area, and in order to keep Turner- Dodge House visitors safe, the tree must be removed. All options were considered before deciding to remove the tree.
