Statement from Mayor Andy Schor Regarding Fatal Fire

Early this morning our firefighters responded to a devastating fire in North Lansing that left three children dead, four other family members injured and a family displaced. Our hearts go out to our neighbors as they deal with the impact of this horrible event. I am grateful to the brave men and women of the Lansing Fire Department (LFD) for their quick response and action during this aggressive fire. LFD's investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, and we will provide updates as we are able.
