City of Lansing Co-Sponsors Recycle Rama, Lansing's Largest Recycling Event

The 10th annual Recycle Rama will be held on Saturday, April 13 at the Ingham County Health Department parking lot, located at 5303 S. Cedar St. in Lansing, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thousands of people are expected to participate in this special recycling day.

Items such as clothing, shoes, unwanted medicine, appliances, scrap metal and other materials will be accepted at no cost. All TVs and computer monitors will cost $20/each to drop off.

In an effort to control traffic and make this a successful and safe event, all vehicles must enter from northbound Cedar St. into the Health Department parking lot and exit onto Jolly Rd.

This event is also sponsored by the Lansing Board of Water and Light, the City of Lansing, Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties, Michigan State University and many other community sponsors.

For more information, contact the City of Lansing’s Capital Area Recycling and Trash office at 517-483-4400 or recycle@lansingmi.gov.
