How do I know if the sidewalk in front of my house is scheduled for eventual replacement by the City?

The City has a sidewalk replacement program that spans over many years as funding becomes available. To see if your sidewalk is scheduled for replacement, contact the Assistant City Engineer at (517) 483-4455.  Be aware that when the City replaces sidewalk, the adjacent property owner may be responsible for paying an assessment for the replacement.

For additional information, contact the Public Service Department at (517) 483-4455.
